Kellie martin is an American TV, film as well as stage actor. Her most notable role is Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On); and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Also, she is known for being the main character in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Born to a department store owner and a kindergarten teacher, Martin was able to begin her acting career at the young age of seven when her aunt, who worked as the nanny of Michael Landon's children helped her land her a role in the series of 1982 "Father Murphy.". In the years following after her Yale University graduation, she began to concentrate on acting. She was able to secure significant roles on both cinema and television. Martin is, in addition to being a skilled dancer and actress, is also a successful ballet photographer. A mother of two, she's the official spokesperson for Lupus and has been frequently spreading awareness regarding the disease following the death of her sister from it at just 19.
